These general contract conditions regulate the relationship between sales and transactions between the the Eyes of the world Private Foundation and its customers or users, in accordance with the legal stipulations.
Eyes of the world, a Private Foundation, reserves the right to make any modifications to its terms and conditions that it considers necessary, without prior warning. Any modifications can be made in accordance with the law, and they will be implemented for the time stated on the foundation’s website until they are legally changed for other terms and conditions.Eyes of the world reserves the right to apply, in specific cases, contracting conditions in preference to these conditions when it considers appropriate, announcing them in a timely manner.
The web page is used to register as a member and/or make a donation.
The length of the contract will be bound by the end of the contracted service.
As a user, you explicitly state that you know, understand, and accept both the conditions of use and these general contract conditions. You also state that you are of legal age and have the legal capacity to access the websites of the Eyes of the world Private Foundation and contracting through them.

You can register as a user on the Foundation’s website to make online purchases in the corresponding section on the website. Conforming to the applicable regulation and current data protection laws, the Eyes of the world Private Foundation informs that any personal data collected during the registration process or purchasing process will be added to the Foundation’s processing system, with the aim of handling said data provided by the user and managing the subsequent actions that derive from them.
Your information will be stored for the period strictly necessary to fulfil the aims set above, except for cases where conservation is a legal obligation.
We inform you that the legal basis for processing your data is the correct execution of the contract between the parties and the consent.
In accordance with current data protection laws, you can exercise the right to access, rectify, limit processing, remove, portability, and oppose the processing of your personal data, as well as consent for them to be used, by sending your request to the above address or the following email address: eyesoftheworldfoundation@eyesoftheworld.org. You can go to the competent Supervisory Authority to make any complaint you consider necessary.
During the purchasing process, you should identify yourself using the username and password provided. This information will not be published. You are responsible for keeping your identity and password you are provided with when registering confidential, therefore not giving them to anyone else. You are able to modify the information that you provide at any time in your profile section. In this same section, you will find your contracted services history; this is only a consultation section, though you can manage it by deleting any records you don’t need to see.
Once your purchase is complete, you will receive a confirmation email. It is important that you enter a valid email address when purchasing. If there is a service that is on offer, the price and validity of the offer will always be detailed alongside the description of the service.
In compliance with current laws, the Eyes of the world Private Foundation provides information regarding its services, characteristics, and prices. Despite this, Eyes of the world reserves the right to remove, replace, and change the services that it offers via its website by simply changing them. All services will be regulated by the general contract conditions in place. The Foundation has the power to remove its services without prior warning, and at any time.
Guarantees
All the services offered on the website come with a corresponding guarantee, as well as the time and manner of service delivery regarding the service you have requested.

Prices
All our services are accompanied by the price in Euros which also includes VAT (IVA in Spain).
If any other taxes are applied, they will be indicated with the following abbreviations: IGIC or IPSI.
Becoming a member
The Eyes of the world Private Foundation informs you that you can select the amount you see fit as well as the payment period, whether this is monthly, quarterly, weekly, or yearly.
The Foundation also outlines the following:
- By giving 10 euros a month, 20 people in Mali will have the glasses that they need to live a normal life.
- By giving 30 euros a month, the eyesight of 240 boys and girls could be tested to prevent illness and facilitate their education.
- By giving 60 euros a month, 10 Mozambicans would be able to regain their sight.
- By giving 150 euros a month, one of the technical teams at the Sahrawi refugee camp would receive training in primary eye care.
Making a donation service
The Eyes of the world Private Foundation provides you with the option to make one-off donations of the amount you see fit.
If the Foundation issues a tax certificate, it would require the following information:
-Name and surname(s)
-Passport/Identity number
-Email address and/or home address.
Payment methods for registering
You can make a payment using the folowing means:
-Direct debit
The Eyes of the world Private Foundation will take payment from the account number that you have provided for the period that you have requested.

Payment methods for making a donation
You can donate by any of the following means. You should select the relevant option:
-Visa or Mastercard
Any operations that involve personal or bank information are processed on the security standard server SSL (Secure Sockets Layer). All of the information you provide is encrypted on the server.
With regards to your bank details, these are entered directly onto the banking page (terminal point of sale); these are neither entered nor stored on the Foundation’s server.
Should you pay with a Visa or Mastercard, you will be asked for the following information: card number, expiry date, and a validation code that coincides with the CVC number (3 digits) on the back of the card. By doing this, the transaction is more secure.
This payment method is valid only on the web.
When a purchase is made fraudulently or wrongly using one’s bank details, the card owner may request a cancellation. In such cases, the refund will be processed as soon as possible.
However, if the payment was made by the card owner and a refund was not as a result of having exercised the right of withdrawal or termination, this would constitute an unduly cancelation of the corresponding charge. The cardholder shall be liable to the Eyes of the world Private Foundation to compensate the damages caused as a result of such cancellation.
-Bank transfer
Should you request payment to be made via bank transfer, along with your confirmation, you will receive an email that contains the Foundation’s bank details.
When completing the transfer, you must include the following in the reference section: order number, first and last name(s). Furthermore, the transfer must be made within three days of the confirmation date in order for it to be validated.
Should you want to, you can send proof of the transfer to the following email address: eyesoftheworldfoundation@eyesoftheworld.org. The order will not be considered as complete until the administration department has received confirmation of the bank transfer.
Payment must be made in Euros; any conversion or bank charges will be charged to your bank account.
For any bank transfers outside of Spain, you must always advise your bank that it should deal with any fees, bank fees, and expenses that correspond to your account. If this does not happen, the Foundation will be able to halt the delivery of your order given that it has not received the correct amount.
Any possible exchange or bank fees are charged to your account.
-Bizum
This is a fast and simple service that allows you to send and receive money via your bank account’s app. The money arrives in our account immediately and securely.

Cancelling your membership
The Foundation informs that until we have been informed of your wish to cancel your membership, payment will continue to be taken.
To deregister, you should contact us at eyesoftheworldfoundation@eyesoftheworld.org, or via our customer service telephone line at +34 934 515 152, where we will be able to explain the process.
Right of withdrawal
As established in article 103 of law 3/2014, on 27th March, which modifies the revised text of the General Law for consumer and user protection, providing services or goods made in accordance with the specifications of the consumer or clearly personalised, or that, as a result of their nature, cannot be returned or can deteriorate or expire quickly, are exempt from withdrawal.

Jurisdiction
The Eyes of the wold Private Foundation reserves the right to exercise the respective civil and criminal legal actions it considers necessary for the improper use of its website or its contents, or for breach of these conditions.
The relationship between the user and provider will be governed by current regulations in Spain. Should any issues arise, either party may submit their complaints to arbitration or go to the ordinary jurisdiction, in compliance with jurisdiction rules and competency in this regard. The Eyes of the world Private Foundation is located in Barcelona, Spain.
