Ferran Rodés Vilà (Barcelona, August 1, 1960) is a Catalan businessman. He is vice president of Havas Media, CEO of Acciona and co-founder and president of the Editorial Board of the Ara newspaper. On March 20, 2012, the Government of Catalonia appointed him president of the Advisory Council for Sustainable Development (CADS).
He graduated in Economic Sciences from the University of Barcelona (UB) and has several specialized training courses at Gresham College, IESE and Stanford University, among others. He began his professional career in 1985 at the American bank Manufacturers Hanover Trust and continued, in 1990, in Banesto, where he founded the Corporate Banking Department in Barcelona. In 1991 he created and directed the new Business Banking Department at Banesto headquarters in Madrid.
In 1994, he was appointed CEO of the Media Planning group. He has also been the Managing Director of Havas Media and has held senior management positions in companies of Grupo Havas, one of the main global communication, marketing and advertising groups. The spring of 2006 is named CEO of the group, a position he held until March 2011, when he was appointed vice president. He is an adviser to Acciona and president of his Committee of Appointments and Remuneration and member of the Sustainability Committee. He is president of Neometrics and counselor of companies of his family group like ISP, In-Store Media, Acceso. He is also the founder of the newspaper Ara and president of his Editorial Board since June 2012. From 2022 he is president of the Board of Trustees of the Antoni Tàpies Foundation.
