PhD in Sociology. Director General of the Digital Society of the Generalitat de Catalunya. She was head of Innovation at the Digital Society Technologies Area (i2cat) and researcher at ESADE’s Institute for Social Innovation.
Liliana Arroyo is an expert in digital transformation and social impact. She has participated as a member of the research team in several projects in different areas of sociology, with the common goal of understanding social phenomena and important changes in the collective sphere. Liliana has researched the social impact of digital tools on the way we do, feel and relate to each other. She writes for the newspapers Ara, El Periódico and El País, among others, and has taken part in programmes on RAC1 and TV3. She regularly participates in non-academic environments, where she provides knowledge transfer.
