Born in Barcelona in 1969, Enric Botí has a degree in Law from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. He worked as a lawyer in a private firm, where he specialized in civil liability matters. In 1997 he was the director of the administrative agency of the ONCE in Olot (Girona). In 2000 he moved to Barcelona to hold the post of Head of the Department of Social Services to the Territorial Delegation of Catalonia. From 2003 to 2007, he assumed the presidency of the Catalan Federation of Sports for the Blind. From 2007 to January 26, 2019, he was President of the Territorial Council of the ONCE in Catalonia. From that same date he assumes the direction as Territorial Delegate of the ONCE in Catalonia.
Also since 2007 he is general secretary of the Catalan Committee of Representatives of People with Disabilities – COCARMI. In 2015 he was appointed patron of the ONCE Foundation for cooperation and solidarity with people with disabilities. That same year he is appointed, on behalf of the ONCE, as a full member in the National Council for the Disability of Catalonia – CODISCAT. During 2017 he was vice president of the Board of Entities of the Third Social Sector of Catalonia.
