Barcelona, 1974. Mayor of Santa Coloma de Gramanet since 2009. She has been linked to the council of this municipality of the Barcelona area since 1997, first as a technician in the Analysis and Planning Office of the Area of Services to the Person and also as a councillor with responsibilities in Youth, Solidarity and Cooperation, and deputy mayor, coordinating the papers of the Area of Services to the Person.
She studied Political Science at the Autonomous University of Barcelona and has a Master’s degree in Social Policy, as well as doctoral studies in Political Science at Pompeu Fabra University. She is a member of the PSC Executive Committee, with responsibilities for Security Policies since 2022.
She has been a member of the Parliament of Catalonia from 2012 to 2015 and is currently Deputy to the Presidency and Deputy Delegate for International Relations, Agenda 2030, Urban Agendas and Public Policy Innovation at the Provincial Government of Barcelona.
